Ingredients
1/2 lb. turnips
1 1/4 lb. potatoes
1 oz. butter
Milk to mix
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Method
Peel and dice the potatoes and turnips.
Boil together until soft.
Drain and return to heat to steam gently, then mash with remaining ingredients.
Serve hot, especially good with lamb.
