Each and every chapter directly supports its community through individual partnerships with local charities.

Currently, most of our donations go to charities supporting the elderly and our District Homes.

Historically, during war times, DBE raised enough to provide an airplane, mobile kitchens, ambulances, surgical instruments, thousands of miles of rolled bandages, other such supplies, and food & clothes -- Florida alone is documented as providing over five tons of clothing.

It is estimated that since World War II the DBE has donated several million dollars to their local charities.

To learn more about an individual charity, click on its logo below that represent many of the charities supported by the DBE local chapters. DBE members donate in cash, and ‘in kind’ with bought and handcrafted items. They spend hours of time on their project and drive miles and miles to reach country fairs and heritage festivals.
