Bubble & Squeak

Ingredients

  • 3 c. cooked, chopped cabbage

  • 3 Tbsp. bacon grease

  • 2 c. mashed potatoes

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onions

Method

  1. Heat bacon grease in heavy skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add cabbage, potatoes, and onions.

  3. Fry until heated through and slightly browned, stirring occasionally.

  4. Season to taste.
