Dear Members, Friends and Visitors,
As the National President of the 31st Administration of the Daughters
of the British Empire in the United States of America ("DBE"), a charitable,
non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian, voluntary American Society of
women of British or Commonwealth heritage (or the wife or partner of
someone of British or Commonwealth heritage), it gives me great
pleasure to welcome you to our website.
The DBE has been in existence for over 100 years and its primary objective
is to raise money to help support four retirement/nursing facilities. Our
membership is comprised of a diverse group of ladies from many different
backgrounds but with a common heritage and common philanthropic cause.
So whether you are a professional business woman or a stay-at-home mum,
a bread-winner or a bread maker, a long-standing expat or newly arrived
