Highland Toffee

Ingredients
1/3 cup butter
2 cups rolled oats
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Method
Melt butter in an 8-inch square pan; Add oats and mix well to coat. Mix in sugar and salt, add syrup and vanilla; Mix with hands. Pat down solid. Bake at 400 degrees for 11:50 minutes. Cool and cut.
